An exciting opportunity to join a forward-looking ICT Team delivering quality system solutions to a Blue Light Service.

Working alongside our experienced System Management Team you will help ensure that Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service (LFRS) have the right systems in place to deliver quality services that enable our Service to deliver for our communities. You will manage a portfolio of related ICT Systems; ensuring they are secure and effective. You will be responsible for making sure our systems meet Service requirements, are correctly procured and Supplier Contracts are managed. Working with our Users and Suppliers you will ensure they are resilient, and delivery value for money.

As part of the wider ICT team, you will be working with Service Colleagues to resolve issues and deliver change. You will ensure user guides and procedures are correct and up to date, and that staff are suitably trained in the operation of our Systems. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to key System delivery projects within the Service

The successful candidate will have relevant knowledge of System portfolio Management. This would cover areas such as System Administration, procurement and contract management, user training, Change Management process and projects. Technical knowledge of system configuration, incident and problem management would also be relevant. You will be capable of working swiftly and accurately, often in time sensitive situations. We are looking for candidates that can, above all, demonstrate the capability to excel in this broad and challenging role.
