This is an exciting part-time opportunity, working 22.5 hours per week.

Job Objectives
Reporting to the Finance Manager, your role as Systems Accountant would maintain the financial accounting system, resolve technical issues and drive systems efficiencies including development of financial reporting dashboards.
With strong finance and system skills, your key responsibilities will include leading on:
- Train and support system users in effective use of the finance system
- Lead or support finance system upgrades and integration projects
- Drive system improvements including streamlining workflows and automation of repetitive financial tasks
- Maintain the chart of financial account codes in line with financial regulations and code of practice
Skills Required
You should hold an AAT or equivalent qualification, with significant systems management experience in a local government finance setting.
You will be a confident communicator who is able to foster great working relationships with a flexible approach and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
