Network Sales Engineer / Solutions Architect – Secure Government – Full-time, Permanent

Location: Remote, UK-based with travel to customer sites in and around London

Salary: Up to £150,000 basic salary + 20% bonus + Car Allowance + Excellent Benefits

Security Clearance: Current STRAP Clearance highly desirable. DV Cleared candidates may also be considered.

As Network Sales Engineer / Solutions Architect, you will work closely with highly secure government and public sector organisations, helping customers solve complex operational, security and performance challenges. What the Network Sales Engineer / Solutions Architect Will Do:

As Network Sales Engineer / Solutions Architect, you'll become a key technical advisor supporting strategic public sector and government accounts throughout the entire customer engagement lifecycle.

  • Lead technical discovery, solution design and customer workshops
  • Support the full presales and sales lifecycle
  • Deliver technical presentations, demonstrations and proof of concepts
  • Translate technical challenges into business outcomes
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers and partners
  • Support RFPs, RFIs and technical bid responses
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to influence future development
  • Build long-term customer relationships and identify new opportunities
  • Represent the business at customer meetings and industry events

What You Need:

This role would suit an experienced Presales Consultant, Solutions Architect, Network Architect, Sales Engineer or Technical Consultant who enjoys combining deep technical expertise with customer engagement and strategic problem solving.

  • Experience working with secure UK Government, Defence, Intelligence or Public Sector environments with current STRAP or DV Clearance (essential)
  • Strong commercial experience within Presales, Network Engineering, Solutions Architecture or Technical Consulting and ability to engage confidently with senior technical and executive stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of enterprise networking technologies
  • Strong networking expertise including Cisco technologies, TCP/IP, NetFlow and VoIP
  • Experience with enterprise LAN/WAN environments and network infrastructure design
  • Understanding of network performance, monitoring and troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of security principles and secure infrastructure design
  • Experience with cloud, virtualisation and software-defined networking technologies
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • CCNA, CCNP, CCIE or similar certifications would be advantageous
