Technical Lead – Full-time, Permanent
Location: East Kilbride, Scotland (hybrid working)
Salary: Up to £75,000 per annum DOE + Benefits

What the Technical Lead Will Do:
As Technical Lead, you'll combine technical leadership with hands-on engineering, helping to deliver high-quality software solutions while supporting and developing the wider team.
- Lead the design, development and delivery of scalable cloud-native applications
- Drive technical decision-making, architecture and engineering best practice
- Mentor, coach and support developers to maximise performance and growth
- Champion code quality, testing, security, reliability and continuous improvement
- Oversee integration and interoperability across multiple systems and environments
- Collaborate with Product, QA, Architecture and DevOps teams to deliver business-critical solutions
- Support the Glasgow engineering team whilst acting as a key link to the wider business
The Technology Environment & What You Need:
As the Technical Lead, you'll be joining a modern engineering team working with cloud-first technologies, scalable architectures and contemporary development practices.
- Strong commercial experience developing software using JavaScript and/or TypeScript
- Experience building modern web applications using React and Next.js
- Strong background working with AWS cloud technologies and AWS CDK
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments
- Previous experience in a Technical Lead, Lead Developer or similar leadership position
- Strong understanding of secure, scalable, resilient and observable system design
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and mentoring skills
