The Leonardo Cyber Division is looking to expand our Solution Architect team for the Leonardo Above Secret space, supporting internal, MOD, and Government clients within our Intelligence Solutions business. We seek a Solution Architect capable of overseeing complex systems, ensuring effective interaction among actors, systems, and components to meet stakeholder requirements.

You will be part of a skilled Solution Architecture community and IPT, providing technical oversight and leadership, including:
- Interpreting customer objectives, concerns, and statements of work to define requirements and success criteria, facilitating Agile delivery.
- Assessing current and target states of customer systems and environments.
- Understanding stakeholder perspectives and defining use cases.
- Maintaining current knowledge of IT, security, and supporting technologies.
- Developing and communicating solution architectures that meet functional and non-functional requirements.
- Supporting project and operational teams in implementing solutions and managing risks.
- Creating high-level designs for engineering teams.
- Providing technical guidance and problem-solving support to ensure delivery quality.
The role also involves maintaining industry awareness by:
- Staying updated on evolving technologies and certifications.
- Keeping abreast of industry standards, policies, and frameworks.
- Developing design principles tailored to client needs.
Furthermore, you will lead governance and best practices by:
- Overseeing technical documentation reviews and asset audits.
- Providing senior support in meetings and governance activities.
- Driving continual service improvement initiatives.
The candidate must be a UK national with current DV clearance and possess experience in:
- Systems infrastructure engineering and architecture design, including network, storage, virtualization, and high-availability solutions.
- Microsoft Windows Server, Group Policy, security technologies, and secure gateway solutions.
- Requirements analysis, solution design, and SDLC processes.
- Working within secure, classified environments, especially MOD standards.
- Cloud technologies, Secure DevOps, and architecture frameworks.
