Procurement Lead
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Lead to drive strategic sourcing initiatives across a global Mobility Division, with a strong emphasis on technology and IT indirect spend. This is a high-impact role responsible for shaping sourcing strategy, delivering commercial value, and supporting enterprise-wide digital transformation.
This position offers the opportunity to partner with senior technology and business leaders, manage critical supplier relationships, and influence major commercial outcomes across a diverse spend portfolio including Professional Services, Hardware, Software, Cloud, and other indirect categories.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sourcing Leadership
- Design and execute sourcing strategies with a strong focus on technology spend (cloud infrastructure, enterprise software, IT services).
- Partner closely with IT, Digital, and business leaders to align procurement strategy with technology roadmaps and transformation objectives.
Sourcing Execution & Negotiation
- Lead complex, high-value sourcing events (RFPs, RFIs, negotiations).
- Take direct responsibility for major technology vendor agreements (e.g., hyperscalers, enterprise SaaS providers).
- Deliver best-in-class commercial outcomes while ensuring robust risk mitigation and contractual compliance.
Category Management & Value Delivery
- Identify and implement cost optimization, supplier innovation, and process improvement initiatives across multiple indirect categories.
- Apply market intelligence, benchmarking, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) models, and advanced analytics to drive data-informed decisions.
Stakeholder & Supplier Engagement
- Act as a trusted procurement advisor to senior stakeholders, particularly within the technology function.
- Develop and maintain executive-level relationships with key suppliers to foster collaboration, performance, and innovation.
Governance, Risk & Transformation
- Ensure strong governance and compliance across sourcing activities, with emphasis on technology risk management and supplier performance.
- Champion procurement transformation initiatives, including digitalization, e-Sourcing platforms, and AI-enabled tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred.
- 8+ years of progressive procurement experience, with significant expertise in technology sourcing and supplier management.
- Demonstrated success negotiating with global technology vendors (e.g., cloud providers, enterprise software firms).
- Strong understanding of software licensing, cloud consumption models, and technology contracting.
- Experience with e-Sourcing platforms (e.g., Ariba) and digital procurement tools.
- Background in risk management, compliance, and supplier governance frameworks.
