We are partnering with a UK-based bank to appoint an IT Governance & Access Management Analyst to join their IT function.
This is a broad, hands-on role covering user access management, IT governance, risk and controls, audit coordination and project delivery support. The successful candidate will help ensure access across the organisation's IT systems is effectively administered and governed, while supporting wider governance activities across the IT function.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer user access across core business and technology platforms
• Create, modify, disable and review user accounts in line with approved procedures
• Support joiner, mover and leaver processes, ensuring timely provisioning and de-provisioning of access
• Support periodic user access reviews and recertification activities
• Monitor compliance with segregation of duties and least-privilege principles
• Maintain user access records, audit trails and supporting documentation
• Maintain IT risk and control registers and track remediation actions
• Support IT risk assessments and control reviews
• Coordinate responses to internal and external audit requests
• Gather and maintain audit evidence, documentation and action trackers
• Track audit findings and agreed remediation activities
• Maintain IT policies, procedures, standards and operational documentation
• Support IT project delivery tracking, risk logs, issue registers and status reporting
• Produce management information relating to access management, audit actions, risk and governance activities
• Support management committees, governance forums and working groups
Experience Required:
• Experience in user access management, identity administration, IT operations, IT governance or a related discipline
• Understanding of access control principles, including least privilege and segregation of duties
• Experience supporting audits, compliance reviews or governance activities
• Experience maintaining policies, procedures or operational documentation
• Strong organisational and administrative skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and competing priorities
• Proficiency in Jira, SharePoint and Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Desirable Experience:
• Experience within banking, financial services or another regulated industry
• Experience administering access within Oracle Flexcube, ERP or FCCM environments
• Knowledge of IT risk and control frameworks
• Familiarity with ITIL, COBIT or ISO 27001
• Experience supporting project governance or PMO activities
• Relevant certifications such as CISA, CRISC, ITIL or Security+
