Senior Delivery Manager (EPR)

Job summary

Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust (LGT) is a community-focussed provider of local and acute care, delivering high-quality services to over one million people living across the London boroughs of Lewisham, Greenwich, and Bexley. Our trust vision is to be exceptional - in the quality of our patient care, our support for colleagues, and in the difference we make through our partnerships and in our communities.

To achieve these aims, we are embarking on the biggest programme of digitally-enabled clinical and operational transformation we have ever undertaken. The Electronic Patient Record (EPR) Acceleration Programme is our exciting and challenging programme aimed at transforming the way we deliver health and care in a way that is both clinically and financially sustainable. The EPR Acceleration Programme will underpin everything we do for our patients and carers, people and communities, as well as creating a working environment that better enables our staff to deliver the best care they can every day.

Key to the success of the EPR implementation will be the engagement and involvement of service users and staff in building and delivering the transformation. This transformation will be underpinned by the introduction of a new comprehensive EPR system that aligns our acute and community services and offers the opportunity for better integration with our regional health and care partners.

Main duties of the job

The EPR Senior Delivery Manager will provide strategic and digital change delivery expertise to ensure the successful implementation of the programme. The role will ensure that the transition to the new EPR solution is effectively rolled out across the organisation in order to deliver a safe go-live, drive clinical and operational adoption, and realise the programme benefits. The role will work in close partnership with the EPR Programme Director, CCIO, CNIO, CDIO and other programme leaders to deliver a joined-up, patient-centred digital transformation.

The post holder will have responsibility for supporting a large scale and highly complex portfolio of work that will have impact across the organisation. They will lead the digital transformation for major areas of the organisation. They will manage change managers and change officers to ensure that the new processes are effectively communicated and that clinical and operational staff are engaged in the change.
