Senior IT Project Manager - Integration

As Senior IT Project Manager focusing on System Integration, you'll be at the heart of our Electronic Patient Record (EPR) programme. This role is a key dependency for the programme's success, offering you the chance to lead the deployment of LGT's related integration with Epic as part of the Apollo programme.
Reporting directly to the EPR Programme Manager, the post holder, working closely with the other IT disciplines and external providers, will be responsible for ensuring the efficient delivery of the assigned project within agreed timescales and budget.
You'll work closely with senior leaders, clinical teams, and technology partners, shaping the future of digital healthcare, driving innovation, and making a tangible impact on patient outcomes. Main duties of the job
To provide day-to-day project management expertise to the interfacing and integration aspects of the project and their impact across all LGT sites.
To produce Project Initiation Documents (PID) in conjunction with Subject Matter Experts and to produce other project documentation according to PRINCE 2/Other recognised for example:
o Project plans
o Output Based Specifications
o Outline and Full Business Cases
o Initiating and defining Risks and Issues with mitigation plans to achieve project goals
Additionally, to:
o Identify and implement interface requirements
o Develop evaluation criteria and evaluate responses
To implement systems from inception thorough to a satisfactory Go live including Acceptance Test Planning, overseeing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and transfer to BAU.
To ensure that the project meets targets set, in terms of time, quality and budget and manage project team members to performance expectations.
To coordinate project work streams and to assess their progress against plans/key milestones.
To assess project resources required for full implementation of individual projects.
To be responsible for the delivery of agreed work areas within overall projects.
To be responsible for maintaining project risk and issues logs.

Job responsibilities
To create and update project plans identifying project milestones and deliverables.
To prepare and present project updates and progress reviews for all parties associated with the project including key stakeholders, SROs and IT and EPR programme Management.
Ensure that new deployments are handed over to the appropriate system manager including procedures detailing supplier support arrangements, change control and business continuity and Disaster Recovery Plans.
To participate in client satisfaction surveys and ensure that there is user input to service and project planning and evaluation.
To carry out post project implementation reviews for inclusion in Lessons Learned Reports.
InternalTranslate and communicate expert technical advice to non-IT Specialists in a clear, concise and understandable manner.
Develop good working relationships and provide specialist advice to colleagues across the Trust.
Develop good working relationships with service leads and colleagues across all service lines to ensure that the objectives of the Trust are met.

Person Specification
Education, qualifications and training
- Masters degree or equivalent experience
- Educated to degree level in an IT or Health related subject.
- Project Management qualification - PRINCE2 Practitioner
- Evidence of continual professional development
- Managing Successful Programmes
- ECDL
Experience
- Significant experience at senior management level managing complex and large-scale IT projects in a heath care environment, specifically in the subject matter field.
- Understanding of ITIL best practice.
- Proven experience of staff management
- Experience of Budget management - large scale capital projects
- NHS Systems knowledge
- Acute and Community Health Setting Experience
- Previous interface project management experience
- Programme management experience
- EPR deployment Experience
