Senior Developer

The Liberty Recruitment Group is excited to be working in partnership with a leading Tech-enabled Analytics Consultancy based in London, who are looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join their award-winning InsurTech division.

As part of a mixed technical team including back-end developers, testers, front-end developers and actuarial data scientists, you’d be working on their market-leading insurance application, used by some of the largest London Market and International insurers to assess over £200bn in reserves.

Your key focus will be:

• Leading the design and development of new product features, providing a holistic approach to design and development.
• Driving better integration between their C# and Python codebases, rewriting and restructuring code where needed to improve cohesion
• Address any performance bottlenecks and optimising performance of complex data workflows
• Championing best practice and guiding the junior team members

What they’re specifically looking for:

• C# development experience (.Net 8)  
• Experience designing and implementing solutions in Azure (PaaS / SaaS, Cosmos DB, Batch, Blob, Azure Functions etc)
• Data engineering – data-intensive application experience / working with large data fields
• Python
• Excellent problem-solving skills
