Overview:

We are working with a high-growth sustainability technology scale-up supporting food businesses to measure and reduce their environmental impact. Backed by a global parent organisation, the business is scaling rapidly and is now looking to appoint a commercially minded Customer Success Manager to manage and grow key client relationships. This role suits someone who enjoys strategic account ownership, senior stakeholder engagement and identifying long-term growth opportunities within a mission-driven environment.

The Role:

The Customer Success Manager will act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of strategic clients. You will be responsible for building strong, trusted relationships, delivering against renewal and expansion targets, and ensuring customers realise maximum value from the platform and services. You will work closely with internal Product, Impact and Customer Success teams, translating client needs into actionable insights and contributing to continuous improvement across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and develop strategic client accounts, driving retention and expansion
  • Build a deep understanding of client needs and how best to support them
  • Create and deliver strategic account plans and commercial proposals
  • Lead Quarterly Business Reviews and brief senior internal stakeholders
  • Deliver product demonstrations and presentations to customers
  • Share client insights clearly with internal teams to inform product and service development
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve customer experience and internal processes
  • Manage multiple accounts and priorities in a fast-paced, scaling environment

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in B2B Account Management or Customer Success
  • Strong commercial mindset, with experience owning renewal and growth targets
  • Proven ability to build engaging proposals and identify future revenue opportunities
  • Experience working with customers of varying sizes, from SMEs to enterprise, and engaging stakeholders from C-suite to operational level
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex or technical information clearly
  • Strong organisational and project management skills
  • Comfortable working with data and insights
  • Collaborative, proactive and relationship-driven approach
  • Demonstrated interest in sustainability, food systems or carbon accounting

Desirable Experience:

  • Background in a technology, SaaS or data-led business
  • Experience within the food or sustainability sector
  • Confidence discussing food sustainability or environmental impact concepts
  • Experience using HubSpot for deal management
  • Familiarity with Monday.com or similar project management tools

Salary, Benefits and Location:

  • Salary: £54,000-£64,000 per annum, dependent on experience
