Account Executive
The care sector is in crisis. We're the company fixing it.
150,000+ care roles sit unfilled in the UK, and demand is set to rise 27% over the next 15 years. People are care providers' biggest asset and biggest challenge. Lifted is the AI-native SaaS platform that helps them hire, onboard, sponsor, and stay compliant — all in one place. We are VC-backed, have 500+ customers and 50k carers on our platform and have 5x'd revenue in the past year.
Our founder Rachael built Lifted after her mum went into care, so we're an A-star team (ex Deliveroo, Amazon, McKinsey) driven by solving problems that matter.
The opportunity
We're hiring an Account Executive to own the full sales cycle — from first conversation to closed-won — selling into care home groups, domiciliary care agencies, and NHS-adjacent providers across the UK.
Here's what makes this different from a typical AE seat:
→ You'll work directly with the CEO and Commercial Director — not three layers removed from the people making decisions. You'll have a direct line to product, pricing, and strategy.
→ You'll help build the sales organisation, not just fill a seat in one. The playbook, the processes, the culture — you'll have a hand in shaping all of it.
What you'll own
• The full sales cycle. Run discovery, demos, proposals, and negotiations. Multi-product deals are common and encouraged.
• Build pipeline. You'll be supported by an SDR generating qualified meetings plus inbound from marketing — but you'll also self-source. We'll give you enriched target lists, competitive intelligence, and the freedom to run your own outbound.
• Close revenue against a clear target. Monthly closed-won targets with uncapped commission. We track in HubSpot and review pipeline weekly.
• Become the sector expert. Attend events and sector conferences. Meet care group leadership face-to-face. Our best deals start with trust built in person.
• Shape commercial strategy. Feed market intelligence back to the CEO and Commercial Director. Influence pricing, packaging, and positioning. Your input directly impacts the roadmap.
• Collaborate cross-functionally. Work closely with marketing on campaigns, with product on feature priorities, and with customer success on onboarding — at our size, everyone's in the room.
Who you are
Experience that will set you up for success:
• 1–3 years in a B2B SaaS closing role. You've held a quota, managed your own pipeline, and know how to get deals over the line.
• Proven experience selling complex technology products.
• A track record of hitting or exceeding target.
• Proven ability to sell on value and navigate multi-stakeholder deals with time-poor buyers.
• Comfort with outbound prospecting — cold calls, sharp emails, LinkedIn.
Mindset:
• A builder, not a passenger. You're energised by ambiguity and excited by the idea of creating something, not just executing someone else's playbook.
• Competitive but collaborative. You want to win, but you'll pull your teammates up with you.
• Commercially sharp. You understand pipeline math, conversion rates, and the levers that drive revenue. You take ownership of your number.
• Genuinely curious about the care sector. You don't need to be an expert, but you should care about what our customers are dealing with — real regulatory risk, workforce crises, and vulnerable people at the end of the chain.
Why this role
You'll own the customer relationship at a company where customers genuinely need what we offer — this isn't software that sits unused. You'll have direct influence on the product roadmap, work hand in hand with leadership, and the chance to build the customer success function at a company solving one of the UK's most pressing challenges.
