Business Development Manager
The main aim for this exciting, newly created Business Development Manager role is focused on selling innovative products and services to Managed Service Providers (MSPs). This is a dynamic opportunity for a driven individual to take full ownership of the role, bringing fresh ideas, identifying new opportunities, and helping shape the company’s go-to-market strategy. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is passionate about building strong industry relationships, can work independently in a hybrid position, and is ready to make a measurable impact from day one.
Duties (include but are not limited to):
- Drive net-new MSP partner acquisition, targeting high-potential service providers to build long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Working with external marketing company to produce effective marketing campaigns
- Confidently cold call MSPs to introduce products and services
- Arrange and hold online and face to face meetings with potential clients
- Negotiating and closing sales opportunities to initiate new business relationship
- Identify and attend suitable networking and trade show opportunities
- Keep information regularly updated on company CRM system
- Once attained, effectively handover new clients to Customer Success Manager for ongoing relationship management
Person Specification:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience (preferably as a Field Sales Executive, BDM or Sales Manager) in a b2b 360 sales role essential
- Experience or strong knowledge of technical products preferred
- Confident communicator, with a track record of building strong, lasting relationships
- Cooperative team player, who can self-motivate in a largely remote environment
- Capable IT skills, with the ability to fully utilize an inhouse CRM system
- Full UK Driving Licence and own transport required: YES
