Digital Support Officer

Job summary

Lincolnshire Partnership Foundation Trust is currently looking for a Digital Support Officer to join our busy Digital Systems Team within the Digital and Data Services.

This role will give you the chance to be part of the team who, look after, develop and maintain the Trust's business-critical digital solutions.

LPFT are currently engaged in a programme of work to roll out Office 365 and its associated collaboration tools (PowerApps, SharePoint and Teams) - The role of Digital Support Officer will support staff around the Trust in use of these tools and systems

Your role will include supporting front line services in the adoption of new systems in to their BAU process. Assist the Digital Health Team in the deployment of new systems and the associated processes related to the introduction of new systems & software. This will include travelling to LPFT sites throughout the county.

Responding to support requests and delivering training sessions, along with the production of guidance to support existing and new systems.

You will also troubleshoot and investigate issues, escalate where required and promote best practice of using our systems.

Main duties of the job

To support the provision of effective systems applications training to all staff ensuring that staff are effectively trained to use systems effectively.

To enable staff to gain maximum benefit from information and information technologies and use them to promote effective ways of working.

To deliver systems training and digital learning (which may incorporate a number of different systems) and other IT training to staff according to the schedule of deployment projects.

To be involved in the design and development of suitable training course materials, user guides and course/lesson plans.

To contribute to the development & facilitation of training in response to systems developments and staff requests.

To participate in skills and knowledge transfer within the department, contributing to cross cover arrangements, as required and overall training department development.

Person Specification

Qualifications

Essential
  • E.C.D.L. or equivalent
  • Good general education (4 GCSE or equivalent including Maths and English)
  • N.V.Q. Level 3 Business Administration or equivalent
  • Evidence of further training or equivalent experience in the use of IT
Desirable
  • Evidence of ongoing personal development
  • Formal Training qualification, such as Certificate in Education & training gained within the last 3 years, or equivalent experience, or be willing to work towards this

Experience

Essential
  • Experience of working in a health or social care setting/administrative experience
  • A working knowledge of the principles of Data Standards and an understanding of the term Data Quality
  • Knowledge of confidentiality, system security and Data Protection
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office Applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Windows environment
  • Advanced experience of Information systems
  • Experience in offering advice and guidance to Staff
Desirable
  • Understanding/experience of SharePoint
  • Understanding/experience of MS Teams
  • Advanced knowledge of Information Systems
