English Speaking SAP MM Contract - Remote

We are currently seeking an experienced SAP Functional MM (Materials Management) Consultant for a contract position supporting a key customer within the Defence sector.

The ideal candidate would have active Security Clearance.

Role Summary:
This role involves working closely with both internal teams and client stakeholders to gather, analyse, and translate business requirements into effective SAP MM configurations.
You will support the implementation and optimisation of SAP ECC and S/4HANA solutions, focusing on procurement, inventory management, logistics, and associated integration points.
The successful candidate will have a strong track record in full project life cycles, from proposal and design through to implementation and post-go-live support and will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-led environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse user business processes and translate requirements into SAP MM solutions (ECC and S/4HANA).
• Define and document business requirements, validate proposed solutions with stakeholders.
• Configure the MM module to meet functional requirements, including initial and security settings, and reporting options.
• Support integration with related SAP modules such as SD, PP, QM, and WM.
• Collaborate with business users and technical teams to resolve functional issues.
• Deliver key project documentation including:
• Business Process Blueprints
• Requirements Traceability Matrix
• Configuration Documentation
• Functional Specifications
• Test Scripts
• Training Guides
• Lead activities related to data migration within the MM area.
• Provide ongoing support for implemented SAP MM solutions and enhancements.

Experience Required:

• Proven experience as an SAP Functional Consultant specialising in SAP MM.
• Strong knowledge of logistics processes and integration with related SAP modules (SD, WM, etc.).
• Experience with S/4HANA implementations, including full life cycle delivery.
• Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and stakeholder engagement.
• Prior involvement in data migration activities within SAP MM.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
