Some things are not up for debate.
Buffering is annoying, the middle of a film edge of your seat or you're just about to get your high score and the dreaded circle appears. You're seething, now you have to restart your router, refresh your browser or whatever it is you do. The moment is gone, high score back to zero or all that tension released as you try to get your film back to exactly the same point.
Solve it. Join a company that is building out a next generation fibre network, committed to delivering speeds that can't be seen... yet. The modern world needs connectivity as much as electricity and water.
You would focus on the infrastructure, building out platforms that innovate solutions to challenges that have never been faced before. The work is not only different day to day but impactful. You'd focus on an AWS environment, provisioning infrastructure as a code with Terraform and containerisation orchestrated with a large Kubernetes fleet. Automation is second nature, scripting and CI/CD essential- why waste time with repetitive tasks?
A close knit team, the role is hybrid with a couple of days a week in their central London office fundamental to the highly collaborative ways of working. In addition to solving a vital problem, you would be rewarded with a bonus up to 20%, private healthcare and wellbeing support.
