Project Manager
Job summary
An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the DiA Team within the Digital Health Care structure. The post holder will be an integral part of the Business Intelligence Unit. The role's purpose will be to own and manage new data assets and data access across Cheshire & Merseyside, ensuring that the work is properly prioritised, drives improvements in timeliness and quality, and meets the expectations of key stakeholders.

1. Maintaining and developing the consolidated book of work pertaining to new data assets across the Data Into Action programme and Secure Data Environment
2. Define product requirements in partnership with stakeholders and in alignment with the overall product roadmap
3. Ensure appropriate data access management and Data Access & Asset Group (DAAG) administration. Working with, and managing the work of associated members of the team, to deliver a qualitative and timely service
4. Ensure that end-user requirements are satisfied for both research and population health data requests
5. Supporting academic partners, ensuring their requirements are satisfied and processes are fit for purpose
6. Plan and coordinate the delivery of a data roadmap through close collaboration with stakeholders, third party development teams and the programme team. Establish deadlines and completion dates and hold the development team to account on those dates
7. Developing, refining and implementing processes to manage the prioritisation of new data assets
8. Developing, refining and implementing processes to assess new requests
9. Providing visibility on progress and blockers
10. Making connections between related pieces of work and ensuring that they are linked and coordinated
11. Driving best practice and consistency of process across the organisation

Person Specification
Qualifications
- Experienced project manager or product manager
- Track record of delivering end to end change, ideally in a population health, business intelligence or transformation environment
- Batchelors degree or equivalent in a relevant subject
Knowledge
- Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Great team player with emotional intelligence and respect for others, yet able to work independently
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience of agile methodologies.
- Understanding of data governance framework and processes within the NHS
- An understanding of NHS datasets
Skills
- Great team player with emotional intelligence and respect for others, yet able to work independently
- Ability to lead meetings and discussions
- Highly efficient in prioritising workload in an environment where priorities regularly change and often conflict
- Customer focused with exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
