1st Line Engineer

As a 1st Line Engineer, you will:

  • Perform duties that include ticket support on Service Desk and hardware maintenance
  • Have a diligent approach that achieves a long term and cost-effective result for clients
  • Demonstrate a professional, respectful, and proactive approach to customer service
  • Attend client sites as and when required to fulfil the requirements of proactive and reactive troubleshooting
  • Demonstrate a logical and methodical approach to troubleshooting, thinking outside the box to reach the best resolution

Key skills and experience:

  • Windows Server (Apply online only)
  • Windows Desktop XP-11
  • Basic knowledge of hosted desktop solutions
  • General user and email administration
  • Office 365 tenant administration
  • Active Directory administration
  • Basic networking capabilities
  • Basic knowledge of VoIP
  • VMWare/Hyper-V administration (desirable)
  • Apple products and support (desirable)
  • Previous MSP experience (desirable)
  • Recognised accreditations, i.e., CompTIA, Apple, Microsoft (desirable)
