Technical Lead

Technical Lead / Senior Full Stack React Developer is required by my prestigious client to join a new project team. My client offers hybrid working with ad-hoc visits to their London HQ.

** This assignment is on an outside IR35 basis and pays between £550-£700 per day depending upon experience **

We are looking for exceptional development consultants who have excellent communication skills and a proven background in delivering quality technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Help define and shape technical solutions to onboard new clients
• Implement source code in Typescript, for both front and Back End, to meet business and technical requirements
• Write unit and e2e test code to ensure source code meets the defined requirements
• Write and deploy Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS CDK
• Work collaboratively with squad team members and technical resources within supporting teams
• Deliver high quality, well tested code, on time and according to requirements

Person Specification

Skills

• TypeScript
• Node
• React
• CDK
• AWS (Serverless)
• Angular (nice to have)
• Terraform

Knowledge

• Understanding of using AWS serverless solutions to create micro-service based, event-driven architectures
• Design and implementation of REST APIs
• Fundamental understanding of TypeScript

Experience

• At least ten years commercial coding experience in JS
• At least five years commercial coding experience using Node, TypeScript, React and AWS Serverless solutions (eg Lambda, DynamoDb, SQS, API Gateway)
• At least three year's experience with AWS CDK
• Any experience working with Angular is useful
• Any experience working with Terraform
• Experience using Jira and Confluence tools

Qualifications

Computer Science Degree and/or comparable commercial experience
