Site Team Leader

Whats the role about?

We are looking for a Site Supervisor to join our team at Yusen in Northampton. You will be responsible for leading a team of on-site engineers, overseeing technical performance, and building strong working relationships with the customer.

You will need solid Siemens PLC experience, a proactive approach to Health & Safety, and the confidence to lead from the front—whether you are supporting daily operations or planning long-term improvements.

Key Responsabilites

• Leading, supporting, and developing the on-site engineering team
• Acting as the technical lead for Siemens PLC fault-finding and performance improvements
• Ensuring all planned maintenance is completed to schedule
• Promoting and enforcing Health & Safety compliance across all tasks
• Building strong relationships with customer teams and internal stakeholders

What we are looking for:

• Siemens S7 PLC experience (PR01 programming course preferred)
• HNC/HND or NVQ Level 3 in engineering
• Strong electrical background and automation knowledge
• Experience supervising teams and working in customer-facing roles
• Confident working at height and in active site environments
