Lead Fintech Backend Engineer (GO)

LEAD FINTECH BACKEND ENGINEER who has extensive experience for the GO (Golang) programming language is required for a permanent position working remotely from anywhere in the UK.

Candidates wishing to be considered must also have expertise in building systems around HMRC, Tax and Accounting

The annual salary for the role is between £95,000 and £120,000 plus EMI share options.

About The Role

Our client who are a consultancy, are building a new UK platform combining booking, accounting, personal tax, corporation tax and payroll into a simple experience for individuals and businesses.

As our Lead Fintech Backend Engineer, you will write the literal engine of our client's application. Your mission is to build a lightweight, ultra-secure, event-sourced double-entry ledger from scratch using Go (Golang). You will be the hands-on system architect, working directly with our Accountant Founder to build the deterministic Validation Bridge that serves as the ultimate Firewall for our financial platform.

Salary and Benefits

Base salary of £95,000 - £120,000.

Founding engineer equity pool (1.0% - 1.5% EMI options).
