Senior FinTech Engineer (HMRC, Tax & Accounting)

Senior FinTech Engineer who is an expert in building systems around HMRC, Tax and Accounting is required for an initial 6-month contract working remotely from anywhere in the UK.

Our client will discuss the daily rate payable to the contractor after interviews have been completed and a suitable candidate has been appointed.

The Senior FinTech Engineer will effectively be the Deep Tech' person within the consultancy.

About the role

Our client who are a consultancy, are building a new UK platform combining booking, accounting, personal tax, corporation tax and payroll into a simple experience for individuals and businesses.

They are looking for an exceptional Senior FinTech Engineer to own the technical foundations of the product, particularly our financial data model, tax/accounting capabilities, and integrations with HMRC and other financial services.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving complex problems where correctness, reliability, and auditability matter.
