Executive Assistant
About the role
London Devices is a fast-growing medical device technology start up (currently in stealth mode), looking for a hands-on Executive Assistant to support the executive and leadership team day-to-day. You’ll report directly to the CEO, giving you close-up exposure to how a start-up runs, including systems, HR, admin and UK/US operations. It’s a structured, supervised learning opportunity, not just an admin job.
What you’ll do
· Support the executive team in preparing board packs and materials, and coordinate distribution of board minutes
· Help maintain investor materials such as pitch decks, reports and updates
· Coordinate all domestic and international travel, itineraries and shipping
· Organise company events and manage general office administration
· Maintain IT services, subscriptions and support tools, and assist with CRM input
· Support recruitment admin, onboarding and day-to-day HR processes
· Streamline financial payments and assist with invoicing, purchase orders, reconciliations and stock/inventory admin
· Support integration of UK and US operations
About you
The main thing we are looking for is someone who is driven, organised and proactive. London Devices is a start-up so you need to be comfortable wearing many hats, and getting stuck into the unglamorous jobs alongside the interesting ones.
In terms of experience, this could mean you're a recent graduate who is interested in how a start-up works, with the view that you might be looking to start your own company one day and want exposure to multiple sides of a business.
Or, you have previous experience in EA or operations-type roles, and can bring that expertise to London Devices, where you’ll implement procedures, improve workflows, and help us run more efficiently.
Learning, supervision & career path
You’ll be directly working with the executive team (CEO and CTO), with regular one-to-ones and feedback.
If career progression is of interest to you, over time you’ll take on more responsibility and visibility across the business, learning skills that translate well into operations, or broader leadership experience. There is the potential for this to develop into an Operations Lead role at London Devices.
What’s on offer
· £40,000-50,000 salary p.a
· 43 days’ annual leave
· Hybrid working — 1 or 2 days working from home
