Assistant Office Lead
Job summary
We are looking for a enthusiastic, motivated and reliable full time Assistant Office lead to join our very busy, efficient and friendly therapies department, based at Northwick Park Hospital.
The ideal candidate will have Reception experience and good knowledge of IT. Knowledge and experience of Cerner/ EPR would be beneficial. The role will be a mixture of front desk, telephone and administrative duties and you will deputise for the office manager, so experience of leading a team would be preferred.
Wewelcome experienced NHS receptionists as well as candidates who are willing to learn.
Main duties of the job
To use the EPR/ Cerner database system to implement the Departmentoutpatient appointments and other various systems and procedures.- To deputise for the Administration Team Leader in her /his absenceand work closely her/him at all other times, to ensure the smoothrunning of Reception and Administration within the Department. Thisincludes the management and organisation of the therapist's Cerner diaries and classes.- To receive patients, visitors and other callers to the Northwick ParkTherapy Services Department Reception desk with a courteous,friendly and efficient manner. To answer telephone calls made toReception.- To provide clerical support to Reception and the Occupational andPhysiotherapy Departments.

Education/ Qualifications
- Educated with GCSE's grade C or above or equivalent qualifications e.g. O Levels
- Admin/ IT courses, such as Excel/ Word (2). NHS leadership course (2)
Knowledge and experience
- Administrative experience in a hospital environment 2 Experience of working to and implementing local policies and procedures 2 Understanding of information governance and confidentiality 2
