The Role
As the Account Executive you will work closely with the Head of Events and Sponsorship to build relationships with potential partners for the community, showcasing our incredible brand and community platform.
You will work across multiple flagship events and ongoing community programmes throughout the year, developing long-term partnerships with technology vendors, consultancies, scale-ups, and enterprise brands.
The role requires both account growth and proactive new business development, with a strong focus on consultative selling and relationship building.
What You'll Do
- Drive sponsorship revenue across conferences, executive roundtables, and community initiatives
- Develop and manage a pipeline of new business opportunities within the technology sector
- Grow revenue from existing partners through strategic account management
- Understand partner objectives and create tailored, value-driven sponsorship solutions
- Maintain a strong understanding of the tech ecosystem, industry trends, and competitor activity
- Work closely with marketing, content, and operations teams to ensure they have all the information provided to deliver agreed deals.
- Identify prospective partners through market research, industry events, and outbound outreach
- Represent London Tech Leaders professionally at events and networking opportunities
- Maintain perfect CRM hygiene & always be prepared for each day.
Who You Are
- Proven experience in B2B sales (ideally sponsorship, media, events, or technology solutions sales)
- Strong commercial awareness and consultative selling skills
- Comfortable engaging with senior executives and decision-makers
- Self-motivated, ambitious, and target-driven
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- Interest in technology, innovation, and business communities
- A desire to grow and develop within a scaling organisation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable in a super fast paced environment.
