Care Navigator / Dispensary Assistant
Job summary
The role will include care navigation within a GP practice alongside working in our dispensary. Working within a friendly an efficient team and multi agency teams. Good communication is a must.
Main duties of the job
Taking in and handing out prescriptions
Dispensing prescriptions
Using computer systems to generate stock lists and labels
Ordering items
Receiving, loading, unloading deliveries
Answering customers questions face to face or by phone
Pre-packing, assembling and labelling medicines
Preparing medicines

Job responsibilities
As a care navigator / dispensary assistant you will assist fellow dispensers, order, prepare, assemble, and dispense prescriptions safely and accurately. You must also be able to manage stock and serve as a main point of contact for patient queries under clinical supervision
Person Specification
Experience
- Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills.
- It would be an advantage if you have worked in a customer service role.
- Experience working in primary care / GP practice / Dispensary
