Job Title: Data Engineer with Expertise in Azure Data Factory, API Integration and Azure SQL

Responsibilities

- Design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines in Azure Data Factory to ingest and transform data.

- Integrate with external APIs to extract and process data.

- Optimise and manage Azure SQL databases for performance and scalability.

- Troubleshoot data workflows and resolve issues in a timely manner.

- Collaborate with team members to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Document data processes and workflows for internal knowledge sharing.

Requirements

- Ideal candidate would have a strong work ethic, ability to work without constant supervision.

- Proven track record of meeting deadlines set by the manager.

- Strong communication skills and excellent customer service experience.

- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF).

- Proficiency in connecting and working with REST/SOAP APIs using ADF.

- Solid understanding of Azure SQL, including query optimisation and performance tuning.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Must be based in the United Kingdom.

Remuneration

- £340 - £380 dependant on experience.
