We’re partnered with a fast-growing EdTech business building modern digital products used by thousands of learners and educators across the UK.
They’re investing heavily into technology, data, and AI capabilities and are now looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help shape the next generation of their platform.
The Opportunity
This is a high-impact full-stack engineering role working across customer-facing applications, internal platforms, AI-powered tooling, and scalable backend services.
You’ll work closely with Product, Engineering, and Data teams to deliver modern software solutions that genuinely improve learning experiences and accessibility.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Building modern full-stack applications used across core learning platforms
- Developing APIs and backend services using Python (FastAPI, Flask or similar)
- Creating clean, responsive front-end experiences using React & TypeScript
- Working within AWS and cloud-native environments
- Supporting AI integrations, automation tooling, and intelligent product features
- Improving architecture, scalability, engineering standards, and deployment processes
What They’re Looking For
✔ Strong commercial experience with Python and modern JavaScript / TypeScript
✔ Experience building APIs with FastAPI, Flask, Django or similar frameworks
✔ Strong React experience
✔ Experience working with AWS and scalable cloud systems
✔ Familiarity with CI/CD, Docker, and modern engineering best practices
✔ Someone collaborative, product-minded, and comfortable in a fast-moving environment
