The Company

We are working in partnership with a high-growth, PE backed technology group who are scaling rapidly. With significant investment and ambitious plans ahead, the business is strengthening its leadership team with the appointment of a Head of Internal Audit & Enterprise Risk.

The Role
This is a critical appointment, giving you ownership of both internal audit and enterprise risk across the Group. You'll provide independent assurance, shape and oversee the audit plan, and embed a proactive risk management framework that supports both growth and governance. The scope of the role will cover contractual audits, ISO audits and broader risk-based internal audit across the Group, ensuring robust processes and controls are in place. You'll also work closely with the Health & Safety function to ensure that risk is managed holistically across operational areas. Working with the Board, Audit Committee and wider leadership team, you'll play a key role in ensuring the business is well-placed to deliver on its ambitious strategy while maintaining strong controls and risk awareness.

The Person
We're looking for someone with proven experience in both internal audit and enterprise risk ideally in a fast-moving, complex environment. You'll combine technical expertise with the ability to influence, communicate clearly at Board level, and take a pragmatic, commercial approach to risk and audit.
You may be IIA/CIA qualified or have started your career in financial audit but moved into a wider audit role.
While relevant qualifications would be welcomed, they are not essential if you bring the depth of experience required. If you have proven experience in audit and risk working at Board level and leading a team, this role could be for you.
