Regional Support & Delivery Engineer | DV ClearableWe're looking for a Regional Support & Delivery Engineer to provide application support, technical delivery and implementation engineering across a range of systems and projects. This role combines hands-on IT support with real delivery responsibility - you'll be running work packages, not just tickets.What you'll be doing:Providing application support: service request fulfilment, incident/problem/configuration/change management, monitoring, tuning, upgrades and patchingProviding technical support across the systems development lifecycle, from solution design through to implementationDelivering quality products on time and within budget, aligned to the roadmap and team capacityOwning continuous delivery across multiple projectsWorking with cross-functional teams to define and produce solutions that meet customer objectivesPlanning and securing the right levels of resourceIdentifying issues and recommending solutions to the programme managerDriving work packages to a successful conclusion, resolving conflict where neededReporting progress and status to the project board/programme managerProviding implementation engineering - directly or supporting third parties - including troubleshooting and documentationWhat you'll need:2+ years' Technical/IT Support experience2+ years' experience in delivery or project management of small/medium work packagesExperience of information analysis and risk managementKnowledge of agile/scrum/lean startup best practice, and experience delivering value through agile methodologiesExcellent communication skills, able to convey technical information to technical and non-technical audiencesExperience with RHEL and MS Windows ServerExperience with the Microsoft Product Suite, including M365Networking and security knowledge (DNS/TCP-IP/NFS/SAMBA/Web Protocols/SSL/TLS/Certificates)Full UK driving licenceExperience with hardware (servers, data centres, PCs), network (switches, routers, modems, VPNs, firewalls) or software (operating systems, enterprise systems, web servers)Able to work independently, prioritising and making decisions confidently and quicklyExperience working collaboratively in a project teamActive DV clearance or DV clearableAble to work 5 days a week on-siteDesirable:Formal PM qualification (Prince2, APMP)Ability to lead a team of engineersExperience with Cloud IT infrastructureApply now to find out more.Guidant, Carbon60, Lorien & SRG - The Impellam Group Portfolio are acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
