We are looking for a highly skilled Housing Application Support Officer with strong expertise in NEC Housing to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced applications support professional who enjoys problem-solving, system optimisation, and supporting essential housing services.
In this role, you will provide expert technical and functional support across our NEC Housing platform, ensuring smooth daily operations and contributing to service improvements across critical areas such as Allocations or Repairs.
What You'll Be Doing- Providing specialist support for NEC Housing, including troubleshooting, configuration, and day-to-day system administration.
- Working closely with the Housing service teams to understand operational requirements and ensure systems are meeting business needs.
- Supporting key modules, ideally within Allocations or Repairs, offering expert guidance and technical insight.
- Using SQL to extract, analyse, and validate data, supporting reporting, audits, and resolving complex system issues.
- Assisting with system upgrades, patch deployments, and testing activities.
- Producing clear documentation, knowledgebase articles, and user guidance.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement.
What We Are Looking For
- Extensive NEC Housing experience (essential).
- Strong working knowledge of Allocations or Repairs modules (highly desirable).
- Competent SQL skills, able to write queries for data extraction and analysis.
- Previous experience within an application support environment, ideally within housing or local government.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive, customer-focused approach.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
