Our client, one of the UK's top retailers, are looking for a Business Analyst to join them on a contract basis. This role will work with Technology teams being responsible for analyzing and modeling business needs, followed by development and optimization of business processes.

The aim for the role is to optimize business processes by leveraging technology, removing unnecessary business variations, while meeting operations and client expectations.

The role will require someone who has knowledge of how Camunda works and how the process flows are configured.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish collaborative and consistent dialog with operations to understand ongoing business needs for processes and optimization.
  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders, ensuring active participation of resources in process mapping and development.
  • Advocate for the involvement of project managers and subject matter experts (SMEs) in the process mapping exercise to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the processes.
  • Plan and conduct proper stakeholder management to ensure appropriate level of engagement and uninterrupted communication flow between process team and operations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand process needs and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Utilize Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) and Decision Model and Notation (DMN) to design and document business processes.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience in business process modeling and optimization.
  • Experience with BPMN and DMN standards, preferably using Camunda or similar platforms.
  • Experience in software development and understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Experience with software development methodologies such as Agile, DevOps, and Scrum.
  • Experience with improvement frameworks with proven track record of successful implementation using SixSigma, Lean.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify process inefficiencies and develop optimized solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and document requirements.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
  • An understanding of integrating BPMN workflows with other systems and applications.
