Business Analyst

Business Analyst (UCL) Location: London (Hybrid - 1 day onsite per week)Contract: 12 weeks | Inside IR35 Rate: £447.50 per day Start: Within 2 weeks Role Overview

UCL requires a Business Analyst to support delivery of the Higher Education Business and Community Interaction (HEBCI) Survey - a statutory annual return to Government capturing institutional knowledge exchange activities, including research partnerships, public and community engagement, and intellectual property management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end HEBCI Survey delivery

  • Process design: AS-IS and TO-BE mapping

  • Data and system analysis

  • Advanced reporting using Excel & Power BI

  • Stakeholder engagement and data validation

  • Process improvement and documentation

Essential Skills

  • Process Design (AS-IS / TO-BE)

  • Data & System Analysis

  • Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Power BI, dashboards)

  • Higher Education experience (Local Government considered)

Desirable

  • Previous HEBCI Survey experience
