Business Analyst – Commodities (CM IT DevProx)

Location : London, 4 days onsite, 1 day WFH

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join the CM IT DevProx (Proximity Development) team, acting as a key link between Front Office (Trading, Sales, Structuring) and IT.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and document business requirements from Front Office and control teams
  • Translate requirements into technical deliverables for development teams
  • Manage delivery from initiation to production within an Agile framework
  • Participate in backlog refinement, prioritisation, testing, demos, and BAU support
  • Work on pricing, market data, risk management, and reporting tools
  • Propose strategic, scalable solutions and identify efficiency improvements

Required Experience

  • 7–8+ years' experience as a Business Analyst in Commodities
  • Strong understanding of derivatives, pricing, risk, Greeks, volatility
  • Experience working directly with traders and quants
  • Knowledge of market data, curve management, and pricing tools
  • Agile delivery experience

Technical Skills (Preferred)

  • .NET / C#, Microservices
  • SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB
  • Some exposure to Murex is a plus

Profile

  • Strong communication skills (French is a plus)
  • Hands-on, proactive, able to work in a fast-paced Front Office environment
  • Experience in Banking / Financial Institutions
