Business Analyst

Job Title: Business Analyst - HR / Payroll System Implementation Client: Staffordshire County Council Location: Staffordshire (Onsite 3 days per week, sometimes more)Contract: Until September 2027 IR35: Inside IR35

Role Overview: We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support an HR and Payroll system implementation programme. The role involves analysing current processes, defining future-state solutions, and supporting system delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • AS-IS / TO-BE analysis

  • Process mapping

  • Running stakeholder workshops

  • Working in a Waterfall project environment

  • Supporting end-to-end testing

  • Managing User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

Requirements:

  • Experience in HR / Payroll system implementations

  • Knowledge of Oracle or SAP HR systems preferred

  • Strong process mapping and workshop facilitation skills

  • Experience with UAT and testing phases

  • Local Authority / Council / Public Sector experience preferred.
