Contingent Workforce Management Specialist - FTC

Our client, a leading insurance business, are recruiting for a Contingent Workforce Management Specialist on an FTC basis at their office in London.

Hybrid Working

Role:

  • Strong stakeholder engagement working closely with Business to educate and guide on the most appropriate routes to engagement of third-party workers
  • Support the business and HRBPs by providing clear guidance on contingent workforce options and requirements
  • Recommend the appropriate engagement route in partnership with the HRBP, based on role scope and compliance needs
  • Liaise with the MSP to monitor contractor end dates and manage expiry activity in line with policy.
  • Follow up with Business Managers to ensure plans are in place in sufficient time
  • Review and triage contingent workforce requests, ensuring they align with internal policy and approved engagement models
  • Liaise with Procurement and MSP to support the handover of SOW cases
  • Provide support to the development of processes and artefacts related to contractor engagement as required
  • Ensure accurate and timely information is provided to Procurement to support approvals and governance
  • Maintain oversight of contingent workforce activity, highlighting risks, issues, or non-compliance
  • Strong stakeholder management experience

Experience:

  • Confidence working in a matrixed environment with stakeholders across different functions and seniority levels
  • Experience providing structured guidance to stakeholders and influencing appropriate outcomes
  • Proven experience supporting or managing contingent workforce engagements or non permanent labour models.
  • Demonstrable experience working with MSPs, Procurement and HR partners
  • Experience applying policy and compliance frameworks within a workforce or resourcing context.
  • Strong ability to track and manage multiple requests and deadlines accurately
  • Relevant qualification or equivalent experience in HR, resourcing, workforce management or procurement is desirable
  • Strong communicate skills
