Delivery Lead / Senior Project Manager – Technology Transition & CTO Support

Location: Coventry / Manchester (Hybrid – 1–2 days onsite)

Contract: 6 months

Overview

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a critical, high-profile technology programme at a pivotal stage. This is a fast-paced, delivery-focused role where you’ll play a key part in leading a complex testing services transition while also supporting the Interim CTO with strategic and operational priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the transition and integration of testing services within a live delivery environment
• Work closely with engineering, testing, and delivery teams to ensure continuity and stability
• Coordinate activity across multiple internal teams and third-party partners
• Drive strong governance, risk, and dependency management
• Ensure delivery remains on track in a complex, evolving programme environment
• Support the Interim CTO with strategic input, planning, and executive-level materials

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience delivering complex technology change , particularly within transition or mobilisation phases
• Strong background working with third-party providers and multi-team delivery environments
• Solid understanding of testing, engineering, and technical delivery landscapes
• Ability to operate effectively in uncertain, high-pressure environments
• Excellent stakeholder management, including exposure to senior executives / C-suite
• A self-starter who can quickly assess situations, bring structure, and drive outcomes
• Experience in Financial Services is desirable
• Consulting-style approach highly desirable
