Day Rate: £220-£330 per day (Inside IR35)
Location: Hybrid/Remote - 1 day a week onsite in Edinburgh
Contract Length: 3 months

We're looking for a highly organised Digital Content Support Specialist/App Content Loader/CMS Content Operator to support the rollout of a new digital application. This role is perfect for someone with strong content operations or CMS experience who's meticulous, process-driven, and comfortable working with structured content.
You'll be responsible for preparing, adapting, and quality-checking content so it functions smoothly in-app, not just copying and pasting. This includes formatting materials into component-ready structures, applying metadata, and ensuring content meets evolving standards as the app develops.

What you'll be doing

• Loading, structuring, and validating content for upcoming tests, pilots, and workshops.
• Adapting existing documents into modular, app-ready formats (chunking, formatting, metadata, naming).
• Applying and improving content rules and standards as new content types emerge.
• Logging defects with clarity - repro steps, screenshots, impacted assets, priority.
• Working closely with product, design, QA, and workshop teams.
• Maintaining content inventories, trackers, and reporting progress.

What you'll need

• Experience in content operations, CMS management, structured content, or similar.
• High attention to detail - confident spotting inconsistencies and comparing versions.
• Strong organisational habits and comfort with evolving rules/processes.
• Good written communication for documenting issues, changes, and standards.
• Ability to use spreadsheets/trackers and tools like Jira.

Nice to have

• Experience with learning or training content (LMS, course structures).
• Familiarity with component-based content (Markdown/HTML blocks, metadata).
• Basic asset prep (image cropping, compression, naming).
• Exposure to workshops, pilots, or user testing environments.
