Director of Cloud (AWS and Azure)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Cloud Services function, aligning strategy with business and customer needs.
• Manage and develop a team of cloud professionals, fostering an inclusive and high-performance culture.
• Collaborate with hosting and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless hybrid service delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement using data, reporting, and performance metrics.
• Develop cost-effective delivery models and ensure financial accountability.
• Ensure compliance with security and operational governance frameworks.
• Build strong relationships across the organisation and with external partners.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in cloud technologies, particularly with Azure and AWS.
• Proven ability to build and evolve modern cloud services in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent commercial and financial acumen, including experience with Cloud FinOps.
• Skilled in strategic planning, prioritisation, and stakeholder engagement.
