Job Title: Developer

Location: London (Hybrid – 2/3 days in office)

As a Developer , you will play a key role in enhancing commercial operations and trading systems. You’ll work closely with stakeholders in a front-office environment, delivering robust, scalable, and supportable solutions to meet the demands of a dynamic trading business.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance trading and commercial applications.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Build scalable, high-performance systems with robust testing.
• Collaborate with traders, analysts, and technology teams.
• Support system integration, deployment, and ongoing operations.
• Drive continuous improvement and adoption of new technologies.

Skills & Competencies

Essential

• C#, .NET 4+, ASP.NET API, Entity Framework 6
• SQL Server T-SQL, Git, Visual Studio
• Unit test frameworks (MSTest) & BDD (SpecFlow)

Desirable

• .NET Core, Angular IO, WPF, Azure Cloud, PowerShell
• Elastic Stack, Endur Openlink
• Experience in front-office environments within:
• Commodities Trading
• Investment Banking
• Brokerage
• Exchanges

Experience & Qualifications

• Strong experience as a software developer, ideally in trading or fast-paced commercial environments.
• Proven ability to deliver scalable and maintainable solutions.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Professional certifications in relevant technologies are advantageous.
