P&A Analyst/Senior FP&A Analyst

Location: Glasgow - Hybrid
Day Rate: £450-£600 per day (Inside IR35)
Contract: 6 months
Onsite:

• First 2 weeks Full time onsite
• Then 2 days onsite weekly

We're looking for a capable FP&A Analyst or Senior FP&A Analyst to support a busy finance function through a key planning, forecasting and month-end period. This role offers broad exposure to senior stakeholders and the wider business.

The Role

Working within a collaborative FP&A and Business Partnering team, you will:

• Support key planning cycles including Budgeting, Forecasting and Long-Range Planning
• Build schedules, track assumptions and gather inputs from business stakeholders
• Deliver month-end performance and variance analysis
• Work with outsourced providers to resolve discrepancies and improve data clarity
• Use BI tools to generate insights, dashboards and commentary
• Support Group Finance with consolidation analysis, reporting and presentations
• Produce ad-hoc modelling and financial insight for decision-makers

What You'll Bring

• Background in FP&A, commercial analysis or similar analytical finance roles
• Strong modelling capability and confidence handling complex data
• Clear communication style, especially when dealing with non-finance teams
• Advanced Excel and solid PowerPoint skills
• Experience with ERP and BI tools (Infor Cloudsuite experience helpful but not essential)
• Accuracy, accountability and the ability to work at pace
• Ability to attend full-time onsite onboarding, then hybrid thereafter
