Overview

Our client, a leading banking organisation, is seeking an experienced ION/eTrading Functional Consultant to support critical trading platform initiatives. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to deliver functional expertise across ION and eTrading systems in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional consultancy for ION and eTrading platforms.
• Liaise with trading desks, technology teams, and vendors to ensure smooth delivery.
• Analyse requirements, design solutions, and support implementation.
• Manage configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of ION/eTrading systems.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards.

Experience

• Strong functional knowledge of ION and eTrading platforms within banking.
• Proven experience in front-office trading environments (FX, Fixed Income, or similar).
• Ability to gather requirements and translate into functional specifications.
• Hands-on experience with configuration and integration of trading systems.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
