Infrastructure Change Manager - Contract

We're supporting a government client in building a new capability focused on managing infrastructure changes and outages across a complex operational environment. This newly created role is key to reducing disruption, minimising downtime, and maintaining performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and approve infrastructure change requests from telecoms and network providers.
  • Triage and prioritise outage notifications.
  • Identify and mitigate operational risks.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships across engineering, telecoms, and government agencies.
What You'll Bring:
  • A self-starting mindset with confidence in decision-making.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Attention to detail and curiosity about networks, telecoms, or data routing.
  • ITIL or Service Management experience (desirable).
  • Willingness to travel to the Southwest site once a week during initial training.
