Infrastructure Change Manager - Contract
We're supporting a government client in building a new capability focused on managing infrastructure changes and outages across a complex operational environment. This newly created role is key to reducing disruption, minimising downtime, and maintaining performance.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess and approve infrastructure change requests from telecoms and network providers.
- Triage and prioritise outage notifications.
- Identify and mitigate operational risks.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships across engineering, telecoms, and government agencies.
- A self-starting mindset with confidence in decision-making.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Attention to detail and curiosity about networks, telecoms, or data routing.
- ITIL or Service Management experience (desirable).
- Willingness to travel to the Southwest site once a week during initial training.
