Lead .NET Developer – Perm- Manchester (Hybrid)

Salary: £70,000–£75,000 + 10% bonus

Location: Central Manchester (2 days per week, flexible start between 7am–10am)

As a Lead .NET Developer , you’ll play a pivotal role in unlocking the full potential of this new platform. This is your chance to influence technical direction, shape product development, and lead a talented team in a truly tech-first environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Take a hands-on approach to design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications.
  • Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code that meets project requirements.
  • Provide technical leadership through code reviews, mentoring, and enforcing coding standards.
  • Lead project planning and estimation , ensuring timely delivery and efficient execution.
  • Act as a bridge between Engineering and Senior Management , communicating progress and technical challenges effectively.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in C# .NET (Framework & Core) and SQL/MySQL , building web services.
  • Expertise in enterprise-level single-page applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern JS frameworks
  • Demonstrable Leadership experience (coaching and mentoring developers)
  • Knowledge and understanding of software architecture
  • Knowledge of ES standards and TypeScript (beneficial).
  • Solid understanding of OOP principles and design patterns .
  • Experience with message brokers and NoSQL (advantageous).
  • Familiarity with WinForms/WPF (useful).
  • Background in Agile environments with TDD or similar quality-focused approaches.
