M365 Senior Application Engineer

Job Opportunity: Senior Application Operation Engineer (M365) Contract Type: 6 month contract until 31 March 2026, with potential extensions (up to 23 months total)Location: Hybrid - Remote with occasional meetings in Glasgow Rate: £500-£600 InsideIR35

We're seeking a skilled Senior Application Operation Engineer with expertise in Microsoft 365 to lead the technical management of services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead M365 service delivery aligned with security and user needs
• Manage service components and implement change requests
• Diagnose and resolve incidents and problems
• Support service adoption through documentation and guidance
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver value and improvements

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Strong communication with senior non-technical stakeholders
• Hands-on experience with SDLC, ITIL, Agile or Prince2
• Proven ability in service improvement and optimisation
• Excellent analytical, planning, and project management skills
• Ability to work independently and influence outcomes

Desirable:

• Experience in asset management, performance optimisation, and user research
• Familiarity with testing frameworks and reporting
