PMO Programme Manager - Delivery Assurance

Contract | Inside IR35 | Remote / London Bankside (occasional) 6 Months Initially

We are seeking an experienced PMO Programme Manager to provide programme governance, delivery assurance, risk management and operational finance support across a large-scale Marketing Effectiveness programme. This role will work closely with product owners, stakeholders and cross-functional squads to ensure alignment, visibility and value realisation across the programme.

The Role

As the PMO Programme Manager, you will coordinate multiple workstreams within the MMM programme, ensuring delivery against committed OKRs, maintaining financial oversight, managing risk, and enabling high-quality execution across the Marketing Effectiveness Tribe.

You will act as a central point of programme governance-driving progress reporting, facilitating collaboration, and ensuring stakeholders are fully informed and aligned.

Key Responsibilities Programme Oversight & Governance
  • Ensure programme goals, scope and OKRs are met, coordinating across squads to track progress.
  • Provide regular programme updates, value realisation reports, and SteerCo materials.
  • Lead quarterly face-to-face Marketing Effectiveness Tribe sessions.
Stakeholder & Team Coordination
  • Engage stakeholders across Commercial Effectiveness, Finance and wider business units.
  • Connect squad leads / product owners, enabling cross-functional collaboration.
  • Collate programme information to ensure accurate, consistent reporting and communications.
Risk & Financial Management
  • Aggregate and report risks across squads and programme delivery roadmaps.
  • Manage programme budgeting, forecasting and financial tracking.
  • Raise and track POs, invoices and accruals.
Assurance Activities
  • Maintain quality assurance across deliverables and programme outputs.
  • Support controlled change management processes.
Key Cyclical Activities
  • CIRB - project plan creation, business case coordination, financial approval papers, marketing narratives.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting - cost collation, PO/invoice management, accruals.
  • LRP & ABP - long-range planning submissions, value realisation sign-off, investment tool updates.
  • Comms & Reporting - MMM newsletter updates, monthly D&T features, bi-weekly status reporting.
Required Experience
  • Strong background in PMO, Programme Management, Risk Management, Delivery Assurance, and Operational Finance.
  • Experience supporting complex, multi-squad or multi-tribe delivery environments.
  • Confident working across senior stakeholders with excellent organisational and reporting skills.
  • Comfortable navigating financial processes, forecasting, and benefits/value realisation tracking.
