Product Manager
Product Manager (Travel Retail) – Contract
6‐month contract | Immediate start
Day rate: 600 Inside IR35
Location/Hybrid: 2-3 Days per week to London Bridge
We're looking for a hands‐on Product Manager to take ownership of a travel retail product that enables readers to discover, explore, and book premium travel experiences directly from beautifully crafted editorial content.
You’ll be driving the strategy behind a sub‐product that merges editorial inspiration, commercial travel offers, and direct booking capabilities, ensuring the entire journey, from article interaction to enquiry or purchase, is seamless, engaging, and commercially impactful.
This role requires a Product Manager who can set direction, bring clarity, and strengthen a vertical that has existed for some time but is now entering a new strategic phase.
You will:
- Define and own the product vision, roadmap, and backlog
- Optimise article → retail conversion flows and improve the e‐commerce journey
- Run structured experiments and testing pipelines to drive measurable conversion
- Analyse traffic, engagement, CTR, drop‐offs, and booking behaviour using analytics tools like Content Square
- Oversee travel tech integrations, including pricing feeds, booking APIs, and vendor platforms
- Balance editorial and commercial priorities, driving alignment across teams
- Provide clear stakeholder updates and influence senior decision‐makers with confidence
This isn’t a delivery‐only role. You’ll need the confidence to shape the future, challenge assumptions, and put strategic guardrails in place.
Requirements:
You’ll thrive here if you bring:
- Senior experience in Product Management
- Strong background in e‐commerce, travel, subscriptions, or marketplaces
- Confidence working with senior stakeholders
- A data‐savvy, experimentation‐driven mindset
- Experience managing vendors, APIs, or travel booking systems (a plus)
- Ability to operate autonomously in a fast‐paced, changing environment
You’ll be shaping a growing commercial vertical with visibility across the business — influencing how millions of readers discover and book unforgettable travel experiences. You’ll have the chance to refine strategy, elevate the product, and drive revenue impact in a meaningful, measurable way.
If you're excited to lead a high‐impact product at the intersection of content and commerce, apply now and help redefine how audiences book their next adventure.
