Programme Change Manager

Programme Change Manager 6 Months Initially Umbrella Inside IR35 Remote/Hybrid (Bankside) This is an exciting opportunity to join a major global organisation undergoing significant transformation. We are looking for an experienced Programme Change Manager to lead the change and communications approach for a high-profile global programme, ensuring successful adoption across diverse regions and teams. In this role, you will shape and deliver the end-to-end change strategy, working closely with senior leaders, programme teams, and functional stakeholders to drive meaningful behavioural and operational change. Key Responsibilities Change Strategy & Planning

  • Develop a 3-year change strategy and detailed annual change plan.
  • Partner with programme leadership and business stakeholders to ensure alignment with programme milestones and business objectives.
  • Manage the change curve journey across global teams.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Identify, map and segment stakeholders at all levels.
  • Build strong engagement mechanisms and partnering models.
  • Facilitate effective dialogue to understand priorities, address concerns and build advocacy.

Change Impact & Adoption

  • Lead end-to-end change impact assessments, from "as is" to "to be".
  • Translate complex programme outcomes into clear change journeys for different user groups.
  • Drive actions that support change readiness, adoption and benefits realisation.

Communications

  • Develop a compelling communication and engagement strategy.
  • Craft messaging that clearly articulates benefits, impacts and required behavioural shifts.
  • Support programme leaders with communication content and delivery.

Leadership & Coaching

  • Coach leaders and managers to confidently champion change.
  • Identify resistance and define mitigation strategies.
  • Promote effective change behaviours and new ways of working.

Risk, Issue & Evaluation

  • Identify and track change-related risks and issues.
  • Provide clear reporting on change effectiveness, readiness, and success measures.

Training & Capability Building

  • Partner with business owners and SMEs to define training needs.
  • Support learning needs analysis across regions.
  • Collaborate with training teams to ensure high-quality, impactful delivery.

About You - Skills & Experience Essential

  • Proven track record leading change on large, complex programmes in global, matrixed organisations.
  • Communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to simplify complex messages.
  • Deep expertise in change management principles and methodologies.
  • Confident influencing senior stakeholders and navigating competing priorities.
  • Problem-solving, analytical and planning capability.
  • Comfortable working through ambiguity and adapting approaches as the programme evolves.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively across diverse teams.

Preferred

  • Experience within Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), R&D or Supply Chain.
  • Experience supporting change for large user groups (2,000+ stakeholders).
  • PROSCI and/or APMG Change Practitioner certification.
