Cloud Project Manager - FTC £100K + Bonus - Investment Banking (Repost)

An investment bank is seeking a Cloud Project Manager to support a large-scale cloud migration, moving their trading applications onto AWS.

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for building the foundation of the project (initiation), shaping the project kickoff, and closely collaborating with technical teams.

You will work with the infrastructure and application teams to report project progress to various stakeholders.

Duration of Fixed term: 1 year (possibility of extension)

Salary: £100K + Bonus

Location/Hybrid: 3 days per week in the City of London (not negotiable)

IMPORTANT: Due to the high volume of applications, please make sure your CV highlights your experience in supporting projects that migrate applications from on-premise to AWS/Azure within the financial services industry, or you will not be considered.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in managing and delivering a Cloud migration (must be involved from the initiation phase)
  • Demonstrable experience working closely with technical teams (engineering & infrastructure)
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with a variety of stakeholders (technical, non-technical, C-suite)
  • Experience and knowledge of various project delivery methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
  • Experience working within Financial Services (not negotiable)
  • Preferably experience with smaller-scale financial companies (100-1,000)
  • Trading experience is highly desirable (Front-office, back-office, commodities, FX, capital markets_.
