Hybrid - 1-2 days per week in the office (London, Victoria)

Our Retail client is seeking a Project Manager to join their dynamic Finance Portfolio team. You will be managing a diverse range of projects of varying sizes across the group.

Most of their projects have a technical dimension, so experience managing technical projects as a Business Project Manager or consultant PM is advantageous, although a Project Manager who is well-rounded in more general PM capabilities is their focus.

Accountabilities:

• Creation and owner of project stage plans and dependencies, tracking progress

• Owner of project deliverables tracker

• Own and manage weekly project team meetings, minutes and actions, reporting

• Owner of project RAID log - Responsible for risk & issue management within Stage, escalating to Programme Manager as required

• Draft and deliver Project communications, taking lead on what messages need to go out and when and own delivery

Experience Required:

• Core project management ability essential - in particular well developed stakeholder management, team management (including 3rd party contractors), application of project controls and organisation and governance management.

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment, where constant activity is required so energy and enthusiasm in the role is essential.

• Someone proactive who seeks to establish their role, even though they don't need to know all the technical and financial detail.

• Some experience of working with technical or financial projects is an advantage but not critical.

• An open, friendly and pragmatic mindset will help ensure a good team fit.
